Per-seat ambushes
Tiers are per firm. The associate who joins in March costs nothing extra; the usage that grows is metered fairly, on your account.
The awkward ones, answered first
For a small firm, usually less than a case-management subscription: you are paying the provider for traffic and storage at its published rates, and for a solo practice the free allowance often covers the lot. The account is yours, you see the meter directly, and we add nothing to it.
Because we’d rather price it with the pilot firms who are live on it than guess in public. A walkthrough ends with a number on paper that same week.
A project line on Professional and Enterprise: clients, open matters and documents move across with you reviewing every batch. The old archive stays readable until you say otherwise.
In bring-your-own mode the arrangement is already yours, and everything is exportable in full at any time. In managed mode we hand over complete exports and the keys to your own instance at wind-down. No hostage arrangement, so no hostage clause.
